Smart and Silent ICU
Smart and Silent ICU (SASICU) is a research project that explores new capabilities for clinical decision support and alarm management in intensive care using the ISO/IEEE 11073 SDC standard for medical device interoperability.
The consortium of universities and industrial partners aims to improve acute care through the standardised, open and secure interoperability of medical devices and artificial intelligence. Solutions will be tested in four clinics, with the goal of improving care quality, reducing stress for patients and staff, and enabling broader applications across healthcare.
